As Buddhists and dharma practitioners we know very well the central role of karma in our earthly and samsaric existence. Therefore, there’s no need to explain why should being aware of our karmic seeds be one of the most important points in our whole practice. We spend years practicing Ngöndro and purifying our karmic obstacles and obscurations.
Karmic Readings provide you with the information about those karmic seeds. In this sense, the main purpose of the Karmic Reading is to chart a heavenly map or karmic map showing the potential courses of life you may experience according to your karma. But for the majority of these courses of life to manifest, your actions are needed. So these astrological karmic readings are meant to provide inspiration so you can make the most meaningful use of this precious human life and choose the right actions.
We dharma practitioners know about the existence of different karmas that could ripen leading to different situations in life; depending on an array of concurrent conditions, we know that many of them may never ripen at all, and that many other karmas can be completely overcome or removed, not to mention the possibility to cease creating new karma. For this to happen, our efforts in purification and accumulation of merit are central. And in this sense also, karmic readings can provide valuable info and insights on what to purify, how and when; the latter by following the timing of the heavenly cycles (moon, sun, planets, Rahu and Kalagni), which happen to be correlated with the inner movement of the winds in our channels, providing excellent conditions -specially for seasoned practitioners- for specific purifications and practices.

Both sessions are recorded and provided to you, allowing for thoughtful review at your own pace. This ensures you won’t miss any insights, even if your attention shifts during the live discussion—a common experience when processing deeply personal information.
Participants are encouraged to engage actively, ask questions, and share reflections during the sessions. You’re also welcome to revisit the material between meetings and bring forward any follow-up thoughts or inquiries in the second session.

Meet Maria Jose Alpañes
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1963, Maria Jose Alpanes is a full-time astrologer and energy healer since 2002. Having first studied Dramatic Arts at the National University of Arts, she also graduated in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Social Psychology at the School of Information Sciences, while working as a Foreign Affairs Executive in the National Ministry of Science and Technology. In 1990 a rare and unique Healing Path found her, and she was trained there for 24 years. In 1998 she started her service as an Astrologer, having graduated in Astrological Studies at Casa XI. In 2002 she decided to fully dedicate to the spiritual service through Astrology and Healing. In 2014 she received Dzogchen transmission from a Dzogchen Master and devotedly practiced for 9 years while studying Tibetan Astrology at Dzogchen Shang Shung Medical School in Massachusetts. In 2021 she met Shar Khentrul Rinpoche, received Kalachakra Empowerment from him and since then has wholeheartedly decided to devote herself to the Kalachakra Path and to help fulfill Shar Khentrul Rinpoche’s Enlightened Activities and Aspirations. She is part of the Spanish Translations Team and the Kalachakra Astrology Project.
