Created to Make Authentic Practice Possible
For practitioners of Vajrayana Buddhism, sacred objects are far more than works of art. They are supports for meditation, ritual, devotion, and awakening.
Tantric Treasures was created by Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche and Dzokden to make traditionally accurate sacred images, texts, ritual materials, and other supports available to Vajrayana practitioners around the world.
It is also part of Dzokden’s wider work to support Rinpoche’s enlightened activities: publishing and translating his books and teachings, creating the conditions for authentic practice, and advancing his aspiration for a Golden Age of Dharma.
It Began with One Statue
The work began with a practical need.
Shar Khentrul Rinpoche wanted a traditionally accurate Twenty-Four-Armed Kalachakra statue in Australia, but no suitable statue was available.
Rather than reproduce an existing model, he worked closely with monks and traditional artists, repeatedly referring to the Kalachakra Tantra to verify every proportion, implement, and symbolic detail.
In Vajrayana, a deity image is not simply decorative. It is a precise support for visualization, ritual, meditation, and realization. When the form is inaccurate, it can create confusion or become an obstacle in practice. Accuracy is therefore essential.
Completing that statue solved one problem. It also revealed a much larger one.
A Vajra Blessing of Abundance
The Tantric Treasures seal was designed by Vajra Master Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche not merely as a logo, but as a sacred emblem of blessing. Every object that bears this seal is intended to carry that blessing. May this Treasury magnetize the causes and conditions for abundance, success, and spiritual realization, and may it contribute to the dawning of a Golden Age of world peace and harmony.
1. The Jewel of Abundance
At the heart is the wish-fulfilling jewel of the Dharma symbolizing abundance in all forms. The deepest treasure is realization of our Buddha nature.
2. Mangetizing Cresent Moon
The half moon and red seal embody the auspicious activity of magnetization—drawing together the beneficial conditions needed for worldly and spiritual accomplishment, and ultimately awakening for the benefit of all beings.
3. Kurukulle's Seducing Arrow
Kurkulla's utpala flower bow and arrow magnetize favorable conditions - supporting success in worldly life and uninterrupted spiritual progress.
