A Sacred Companion for Protection and Auspiciousness
This traditional Tibetan Buddhist hanging amulet is designed to be suspended from your vehicle's rearview mirror or displayed anywhere you wish to invite the blessings of the Kalachakra lineage. More than a decorative ornament, it serves as a sacred reminder of the Dharma while traveling and throughout daily life.
Each amulet was blessed by Khentrul Rinpoche, Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö, during the 2025 Kalachakra Empowerment in California, receiving the blessings of the Kalachakra mandala and the transmission of this profound tantric tradition.
Whether hung in your car, home, meditation room, or workspace, it is a meaningful support for those wishing to carry the blessings of the Kalachakra teachings wherever they go.
The Kalachakra Tenfold Powerful Symbol
One side of the pendant features the Namchu Wangden (Tib. rNam bCu dBang lDan), the principal emblem of the Kalachakra Tantra, often translated as "The Tenfold Powerful One."
Rather than being a simple decorative symbol, the Namchu Wangden is a sacred arrangement of seed syllables that embodies the enlightened body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the Kalachakra deity. For centuries it has been displayed on temples, stupas, prayer flags, homes, and sacred objects throughout the Himalayan Buddhist world as a symbol of protection, auspiciousness, and the complete path to enlightenment.
Within the Kalachakra tradition, it is believed to help create the causes for:
- Protection from obstacles and harmful influences
- Harmony and favorable conditions
- Stability during travel
- The flourishing of wisdom and compassion
- A continual reminder of one's spiritual path
The Sipa Ho – Wheel of Auspicious Protection
The reverse side displays the Sipa Ho (Tib. Srid Pa Ho), one of Tibetan Buddhism's most recognizable protective diagrams.
Rich in symbolic meaning, the Sipa Ho combines auspicious animals, cosmological symbols, and protective emblems that represent balance, longevity, prosperity, and the harmonious ordering of the universe. Traditionally it is displayed above doorways, carried during journeys, and placed in homes and temples to avert obstacles while attracting favorable circumstances.
When paired with the Kalachakra symbol, these two sacred images create a powerful representation of both enlightened wisdom and protective activity.
Ideal for Travel and Daily Life
Designed to hang from a vehicle's rearview mirror, this amulet serves as a constant reminder to travel with mindfulness, compassion, and awareness. Many practitioners also hang it in their homes, meditation spaces, offices, or wherever they wish to invite blessings and auspicious conditions.
As with all sacred Buddhist objects, it is best displayed respectfully and treated as a support for practice rather than merely as decoration.
